A memorandum of cooperation was signed between the "Mediators Association of Georgia" and the "National Intellectual Property Center of Georgia-Sakpatenti.

The purpose of the memorandum is to promote mediation and help to develop Intellectual Property Sphere, including mediation as an alternative dispute resolution mechanism at Sakpatenti. To organize and implement joint projects, events, roundtable, conferences and other activities. Exchange of information on Intellectual property disputes, mediations and other topical issues; Cooperation in the regulation of intellectual property disputes through mediation.

The memorandum was signed by Irakli Kandashvili, Chairman of the "Mediators Association of Georgia" and Mindia Davitadze, head of National Intellectual Property Center -"Sakpatenti".
