Opening of mediation centers in Kutaisi City Court and Kutaisi Court of Appeal

The Chairman of the Supreme Court of Georgia, Nino Kadagidze, and the Chairman of the “Mediators Association of Georgia”, Irakli Kandashvili lead an opening of a new mediation center at the Kutaisi City Court and the Kutaisi Court of Appeal. The event took place on December 29, In Kutaisi. Opening of the Judicial Mediation Centers is an Effective step towards the introduction of mediation to the societies from different regions of Georgia. Existence of mediation centers will ensure the development of the institution of mediation in the country. The mediation centers opened at the Kutaisi City Court and the Kutaisi Court of Appeal serve to create a supportive and neutral environment for the society, where the parties will be able to quickly and peacefully resolve their differences through mediation with the help of highly qualified mediators.
