The first working meeting of the newly elected members of the Ethics Commission was held at the Mediators Association of Georgia, at which Sophio Dughashvili was elected the first chairperson of the Ethics Commission.

The Ethics Commission consists of 9 members. The members of the Ethics Commission are elected by the General Assembly of the Mediators Association of Georgia by secret ballot for a four-year term.
