Tamar Ergemlidze - mediator since 2022


Currently serves as a Judge’s Assistant - Chief Consultant at Tbilisi Court of Appeals; Co-founder and member of the Supervisory Board at NNLE “Professional Association of Court Officers of Georgia”; PhD student at Iv. Javakhishvili Tbilisi State University.

Lawyer by profession, holds bachelor's and master's degrees in Law of Iv. Javakhishvili Tbilisi State University; Master's degree  in German Law from the University of Cologne.

In 2021, Tamar completed a 60-hours certification training course for Mediators organized by the National Center for Alternative Dispute Resolution of Iv. Javakhishvili Tbilisi State University (NCADR), accredited by the Georgian Association of Mediators. Since 2022 is an accredited Mediator at Tbilisi City Court.

Tamar's mediation case category is: labor and inheritance disputes.

What refers to the professional experience: From May 2022 - until now, she is the Judge’s Assistant - Chief Consultant in the Tbilisi Court of Appeal; From 2017 to 2022 she was a Senior Specialist - Consultant in the first category at the Chairman’ Bureau of  Tbilisi Court of Appeals; From 2013 to 2017 she was a consultant, from 2011 to 2013 a specialist and from 2009 to 2011 a junior consultant at Chairman’ Bureau of  Tbilisi Court of Appeals; 2016-2018 she was a representative of the Court in the European Commission for the Efficiency of Justice (CEPEJ). Since 2016, she has been an accredited trainer by the High School of Justice of Georgia.

 

In 2018 (2 month) - attorney assistant at Baumeister-Rosing Rechtsanwälte law firm (Berlin); in 2017 (1 month) - intern at the Nuremberg High Regional Court and Labor Disputes Court; in 2015 (5 months) - intern at the German Parliament (Bundestag); in2013 (1 month) Tamar was an intern at Kiel District Court (Germany) specialized in Court Mediations.
