Memorandum with Batumi Shota Rustaveli State University

Batumi Shota Rustaveli State University has joined the Georgian Association of Mediators with a Memorandum of Cooperation. The involvement of universities in the introduction and development of mediation is important. The process of cooperation with universities continues and on July 22, a Memorandum of Cooperation was signed between the Georgian Association of Mediators and Batumi Shota Rustaveli State University. The signatories of the Memorandum are Irakli Kandashvili, Chairperson of the Georgian Association of Mediators and Merab Khalvashi, Rector of Batumi Shota Rustaveli State University.

The purpose of the Memorandum is to cooperate on actual issues in the field of common interests of the parties, in order to develop and promote mediation, implement joint activities, projects and initiatives. In the future, within the format of cooperation, it is planned to establish BSU as the main mediation center in Adjara region.
