Analysis of the experience of mediation practice in neighboring countries: the example of Georgia

Irakli Kandashvili, Chairman of the Mediators Association of Georgia, at the invitation of the Ministry of Justice of the Republic of Uzbekistan, held a meeting with representatives of the legal profession of Uzbekistan - Analysis of the experience of mediation practice in neighboring countries: the example of Georgia.

At the meeting, Irakli Kandashvili briefed the representatives of the legal profession of the Republic of Uzbekistan on the experience of Georgia in introducing and using mediation as an alternative dispute resolution mechanism and also shared the activities of the Mediators Association of Georgia and the successes that the association has undergone since its adoption.

It is noteworthy that the practice of different countries of the world has clearly shown the effectiveness of resolving existing disputes through mediation, and that is why the Association is ready to continue active international cooperation, which will contribute to the development of mediation in the region.
