At the meeting, the parties agreed on cooperation in terms of professional ethical standards and disciplinary proceedings, including the exchange of information and sharing of practical experience. The purpose of the Memorandum is to promote Mediation as an alternative dispute resolution mechanism and to raise the awareness of the Office of the Independent Inspector. Within the framework of the Memorandum, concrete steps and future joint measures were planned between the Mediators Association of Georgia and the Independent Inspector's Office. The Memorandum was signed by Sophio Dughashvili, Chairperson of the Ethics Commission of the Mediators Association of Georgia, and Zurab Aznaurashvili, Independent Inspector of the High Council of Justice of Georgia.
