Presentation of the Ethics Commission of the Mediators Association of Georgia

On September 29, 2021, the official presentation of the Ethics Commission of Mediators Association of Georgia was held, with the support of European Union (EU) and the United Nations Development Program (UNDP).
The event was opened by the Chairman of the Association - Irakli Kandashvili and he introduced to the audience the newly elected members of the Ethics Commission.
The speakers presented to the guests the Code of Professional Ethics of Mediators and the Regulation on Mediator Disciplinary Proceedings.
At the end of the presentation, the Ethics Commission of the Mediators Association of Georgia, the Georgian Bar Association, and Georgian Association of Arbitrators concluded the Memorandum of understanding to cooperate on terms of professional ethical standards and disciplinary proceedings. The memorandum was signed by Sophio Dughashvili, Chairperson of the Ethics Commission of the Mediators Association of Georgia, Tornike Bakradze, and Lasha Nodia, Chairmen of the Ethics Commissions of the Georgian Bar Association and the Georgian Arbitrators Association.
