A memorandum of cooperation was signed between the Mediators Association of Georgia and the Government of the Autonomous Republic of Abkhazia

The memorandum aims to implement joint initiatives and measures.


The document was signed by Irakli Kandashvili, the chairman of the Mediators Association of Georgia, and Nana Gabelia, the Minister of Justice and Civil Integration of the Autonomous Republic of Abkhazia.



Also, a mediation hall named after Abkhazia was opened in the office of the Mediators Association of Georgia, which was ceremonially opened by the chairman of the association, Irakli Kandashvili and minister Nana Gabelia. Mediation processes will be held in the hall named after Abkhazia.



The opening of the Abkhazia Hall is very important and symbolic for the Association of Mediators of Georgia, resolving the dispute through dialogue is a necessary condition for the mediation process, and the dialogue with Abkhaz fellow citizens is the only way that should lead to reconciliation.
