Mediators Association of Georgia, with the support of the United Nations Development Program and Germany, held a working meeting with the members of the Young Lawyers Committee of the Georgian Bar Association within the framework of the project "Improving access to the rule of law and justice for everyone".
The event was opened by the chairman of Mediators Association of Georgia - Irakli Kandashvili and the project officer of the United Nations Development Program "Improving access to the rule of law and justice for all" - Ivane Chitashvili.
The chairman of Mediators Association of Georgia Irakli Kandashvili, spoke at the meeting with the committee members about the importance of mediation, its advantages and the role of a lawyer in the mediation process.
A discussion was held among the members of the Young Committee of the Georgian Bar Association about the challenges in mediation, initiatives were presented and ways of their implementation were discussed.
