Lawyer by profession. In 1998 graduated Iv. Javakhishvili Tbilisi State University with Qualification of a Lawyer (Equivalent to Master’s degree).
Bagrat has been a Georgian Bar Association (GBA) member since 2006. He was an Arbitrator in several private Arbitrations.
Bagrat has completed a 70-hour certification training course for Mediators conducted by the National Center for Alternative Dispute Resolution (NCADR) of Iv. Javakhishvili Tbilisi State University, accredited by the Georgian Association of Mediators.

As for professional experience: From 2019 till the present, he has been the Chief Collection Officer (CCO) of "MFO Euro Credit" JSC. He has worked in different terms: as the Head of the Problem Loans Department of "Finca Bank" JSC; as the Head of the Administrative Proceedings and Legal Department of the Unified State Fund of Social Insurance of Georgia; in various positions in the Public Defender's office; Over the years, he was the coordinator of a number of Projects in International Organizations (UNCHCR, NRC, EYF) and in the Non-Governmental Sector ("Social Programs Foundation").
