Giorgi Kakubava – Mediator since 2023
Currently Human Rights Center’s Deputy Executive Director. Member of Georgian Bar Association with General Specialization. Giorgi is a member of Committee on Lawyers professional Rights. He is the specialized lawyer in Juvenile justice and Juvenile Rights (civil).
Giorgi has completed a 70-hour certification training in mediation conducted by the National Center for Alternative Dispute Resolution (NCADR) of Ivane Javakhishvili Tbilisi state University, accredited by the Association of Mediators of Georgia.
Giorgi’s mediation practices include: law of obligation, contractual, medical, intellectual property, property law, labor and banking law.
Giorgi has participated in a number of professional trainings and conferences, both in Georgia and abroad. In addition, he is the author/co-author different reports, studies and articles.
In addition to human rights protection, Giorgi has professional experience as a corporate lawyer.In 2019, Giorgi was a lawyer for relations with the courts of East Georgia in Euro Credit, in the same year he took the position of a senior lawyer.Since 2012, he studied at the Faculty of Economics and Business at Tbilisi State University, then continued study at the Caucasus International University and holds a diploma in law.
