Mari Lomuashvili - mediator since 2024
Lawyer by profession; Member attorney of the Georgian Bar Association in the field of civil/administrative law, with additional specialization in juvenile rights; Certified court mediator and PhD candidate in law.
In 2023, graduated with honors diploma from International Black Sea University, School of Law and State Governance and was awarded Bachelor's (LL.B) degree. In 2026, after successful completion of the Master’s program in Comparative Private and International Law at New Vision University, was awarded Master’s (LL.M) degree. Participant of exchange programs of Kozminski and Lodz Universities, in the field of EU Insurance and Competition Law.
Since 2025, Member of the Mediation Law Committee of the Georgian Bar Association.
In 2023, Mari completed the three-stage program provided by the Mediator Certification Rule, as well as a 62-hour accredited mediation certificate program from the LEPL Association of Mediators of Georgia, organized by NNLE "Resolve".
As for the professional experience: 2026 to present, Staff Member of the Parliament of Georgia; 2023–2025, Chief Lawyer of the company Geo Pro Motors; 2024, Intern Lawyer at law firm M&R Law Company within the framework of the adaptation program of the Georgian Bar Association; 2023, Paralegal at NVU Legal Aid Center; 2022, Intern at the Prosecution Service of Georgia; 2020–2021, Intern at the Faculty of Law of International Black Sea University and subsequently, of the Legal Department of the same university.
Besides practical activity, Mari is the co-founder and trainer of the project "Law and Governance for Students", winner of public speaking contests and a number of national moot court competitions. Passed specialized courses, including Introduction to the ECHR and the ECtHR, General Course on Intellectual Property organized by the World Intellectual Property Organization (WIPO), Data Protection Officer certification course; author and co-author of a number of scientific works and participant in local and international conferences and symposia.
