Maria Khachaturian - mediator since 2025
Currently an intern in the Secretarial Department of the Council Office of the Municipality of Tsalka. She is also a trainer of the project "Strengthening Human Rights Education in Public Schools" ("School of Rights"), part of the "Leadership, Equality, Advocacy, and Democracy" (LEAD) initiative, supported by the United Nations Development Programme (UNDP) and Norway.
A lawyer by profession, Maria holds a Bachelor's degree from Ivane Javakhishvili Tbilisi State University and a Master's degree in Private Law from the same institution, graduating with honors. In 2023, she completed a 60-hour Mediation Certificate Training course organized by the National Center for Alternative Dispute Resolution (NCADR) at TSU. She also completed practical training in the Professional Ethics Clinic for Lawyers.
In 2024, Maria passed the subject and professional skills (teaching) qualification exam in Civic Education, conducted by the National Center for Assessment and Examinations. Additionally, she successfully completed the Trainer Training course at the Justice Training Center.
Since 2021, Maria has gained internship and work experience at various public institutions, including the National Public Registry Agency, Rustavi City Court, the Parliament of Georgia, and other public agencies.
