Natia Gabinashvili - mediator since 2025

Ms. Gabinashvili is currently serving as the Chief Consultant of the Analytical Service at the Tbilisi Court of Appeal. She is a highly skilled professional with a background in both the humanities and law. A philologist specializing in French language and literature, Ms. Gabinashvili also holds a law degree. She obtained a degree equivalent to a Master in Western European Languages and Literature from Iv. Javakhishvili Tbilisi State University, later earned a Master's degree in Law from the Tbilisi Law Institute.

In 2024, Ms. Gabinashvili further advanced her expertise by completing a 60-hour Mediation Certificate Training Course, offered by the National Center for Alternative Dispute Resolution at Iv. Javakhishvili Tbilisi State University and accredited by the Georgian Mediators Association.

Ms. Gabinashvili has a distinguished career in both education and the judiciary. In 1997, she began her professional journey as a course curator at the Independent Medical Institute "Knowledge." From 1998 to 1999, she taught French language and literature at Tbilisi Ilia Vekua Secondary School No. 42. She then transitioned into the legal field, working as a secretary-referent at the Gldani-Nadzaladevi District Court from 2000 to 2001.

Her career in the judiciary took a significant step forward when she joined the Supreme Court of Georgia in 2001, working as a leading specialist in civil cases until 2006. She continued her service in the judiciary as an assistant judge from 2006 to 2016. Since 2016, Ms. Gabinashvili has been the Chief Consultant of the Analytical Service at the Tbilisi Court of Appeal.

In 2007, she completed a training course on regional and international human rights standards for assistant judges of the Supreme and Appellate Courts, the Public Defender's Office, lawyers, and civil society representatives.
