Sophio Nemsadze - mediator since 2024
Sophio Nemsadze is a highly accomplished attorney with over 20 years of legal experience. She graduated with honors in 2000 from Ivane Javakhishvili Tbilisi State University, earning a degree in Jurisprudence from the Faculty of Law.
She is currently a doctoral candidate in Law at New Vision University, demonstrating her ongoing commitment to academic and professional growth. Since 2004, Sophio has been a member of the Georgian Bar Association, initially practicing as a general attorney. In 2020, she expanded her professional qualifications to include specialization in children’s rights (civil law), reflecting her dedication to complex legal advocacy.
In 2023, Sophio completed an intensive 62-hour mediation certification program provided by RESOLVE, leading to her accreditation as a mediator with the Tbilisi City Court. Her mediation skills enable her to facilitate resolutions across a broad spectrum of legal issues.
She served as a member of the Georgian Bar Association’s Intellectual Property Law Committee from 2019 to 2022, where she contributed to the enhancement and regulation of intellectual property law standards. Professionally active since 2000, Sophio has a well-established career as a practicing lawyer, providing comprehensive legal services to businesses and private clients alike. Her legal practice has included significant roles in litigation for the Georgian Copyright Association, a key entity in the collective management of property rights. She has also acted as legal counsel for distinguished companies, including LLC “Supta Sakhli” (retail chain), LLC “Ayety” (cable television), LLC “Sharm Trading” (distribution), and LLC “Culinart,” publisher of the magazines Culinart, XII, and Georgia to See.
Her mediation practice covers various fields, such as contract law, family law, inheritance disputes, labor law, construction law, banking, intellectual property, and business litigation.
