Sharing of experience between "mediators and arbitrators"

As part of the Mediation Week, the Mediator Association of Georgia and the Arbitrators Association of Georgia organized the event "Experience Sharing" between mediators and arbitrators, which was supported by the USAID Rule of Law Program "Mediation Institutional Strengthening and Development Project".

 

The event was opened by Irakli Kandashvili, the chairman of the Mediators Association of Georgia, Giorgi Chkheidze, the head of the USAID Rule of Law Program, and Rusudan Chkuaseli, the chairman of the Association of Arbitrators of Georgia, opened the event and addressed the invited guests with a welcome speech.

 

In his welcoming speech, the Chairman of the Mediators Association of Georgia, Irakli Kandashvili, emphasized the importance of the regional development of Alternative Dispute Resolution (ADR) and the involvement of judges, mediators, lawyers and arbitrators from neighboring countries.

 

Mediators and arbitrators play an important role in the development of the justice system, in promoting access to justice. With the cooperation of the Mediators Association of Georgia and the Association of Arbitrators of Georgia, a common goal can be achieved, such as improving the legal system, raising the awareness of society and lawyers, and promoting access to justice.

 

Mediators Association of Georgia continues to cooperate with partner organizations in order to strengthen and develop the institution of mediation.
