Irakli Kandashvili, chairman of the Mediators Association of Georgia , hold an introductory working meeting about mediation (as a new dispute resolution mechanism in Georgia) with the Romanian ambassador in Georgia, Mr. Razvan Rotundu.
At the meeting, the parties discussed the format of cooperation in the future perspective, which Romanian citizens and businesses represented in Georgia will be provided of information about the mediation mechanism in case of a dispute. At the meeting, special attention was paid to the advantages of mediation, by which the disputing parties are given an alternative opportunity to realize their interests quickly and effectively using mediation. At the end of the meeting, were planned future steps and initiatives .
