Irakli Kandashvili, Chairman of the LEPL “Mediators Association of Georgia”, hosted Lena Morton Owens, Legal Advisor of the Department of Justice of the US Embassy in Georgia.
At the meeting, Irakli Kandashvili informed the guest about the challenges and needs of the current mediation process in Georgia as a new dispute settlement mechanism, as well as the concrete results of innovations and reforms introduced in this short period, which aim to increase access of mediation and popularization in Georgia.
The current reforms of the LEPL “Mediators Association of Georgia” were positively assessed at the meeting and discussed future cooperation opportunities.
