The document was signed by Irakli Kandashvili, the Chairman of the Mediators Association of Georgia, and Professor Zurab Gasitashvili, the Deputy Rector of the Technical University in the field of science.
The event was attended by students of the law and international faculty of the university, the dean, professor Irakli Gabisonia, the executive director of the Mediators Association of Georgia, Tamar Imnaishvili, and representatives of the association.
Irakli Kandashvili and professor Zurab Gasitashvili addressed the audience, the chairman of the association spoke about the role and importance of mediation, he noted that informing the next generation in this direction is very important and will contribute to the promotion and development of the mediation institute. Irakli Kandashvili thanked the Technical University for its interest in mediation and cooperation.
The memorandum envisages cooperation on current issues in the field of common interests of the parties, implementation of joint events, projects and initiatives for the development and promotion of the mediation institute. Within the framework of the memorandum, with the support of the Mediators Association of Georgia, material and technical resources will be provided for the relevant training course. The association will also participate in the development and updating of internship and educational programs for university students and graduates.
