Mediators Association of Georgia, with the support of the USAID Rule of Law Program - Mediation Institutional Strengthening and Development Project, held a working meeting for the coordinators of judicial mediation centers.
The participants were welcomed by the Chairman of the Mediators Association of Georgia, Irakli Kandashvili, and the USAID Rule of Law Program ADR Advisor, Sofo Tkemaladze.
Irakli Kandashvili presented his views to the coordinators of the regional court mediation centers and spoke about the need for the centers to work properly.
The working meeting continued in the mode of discussion with the coordinators, the participants shared their experiences, talked about the challenges in the mediation centers and ways to solve them.
The coordinators of court mediation centers agreed on the common management form and standard at the working meeting. A format for future cooperation has been planned, which will help coordinators to easily exchange information.
Mediators Association of Georgia will assist in the coordination of any issue for judicial mediation centers.
