Training - mediator-case manager

At the moment, the training for the members of the Mediators Association of Georgia is being conducted under the name of "Mediator-Case Manager", which is held within the framework of continuing professional education.



The meeting is supported by the USAID Rule of Law Program - Mediation Institutional Strengthening and Development Project.



The participants were welcomed by Irakli Kandashvili, chairman of the Mediators Association of Georgia, and Irakli Gelovani, advisor in the ADR direction of the USAID Rule of Law Program.



The training is led by Elene Orjonikidze, the head of the Mediation Center of the Tbilisi City Court, a member of the Mediators Association of Georgia. The meeting is being held online, attended by mediators from different regions of Georgia.



During the training, such important topics as the selection/appointment of a mediator, co-mediation and communication with the parties will be discussed, as well as issues related to the terms of mediation will be discussed. Mediators will also perform practical exercises during the meeting.
