Lawyer by profession, Tamar holds LLM Degree from The George Washington University Law School (Washington, DC, USA) in International and Comparative Law, with Concentration in International Arbitration, Mediation, and Other Methods of Dispute Resolution; LLM Degree from the University of Oslo (Oslo, Norway) in International Economic Law, as well as MA Degree in Public International Law and LLB Degree from Tbilisi State University. Tamar is also a graduate of International Arbitration Academy (Paris, France) and Summer School in Commercial Law and Arbitration organized by the University of Pittsburg and the University of Zagreb (Zagreb, Zadar, Croatia).
In 2017, Tamar completed 56-hour certification training for mediators conducted by the United Nations Development Program and the European Union for the Tbilisi City Court. Since 2017, she has been a mediator at Tbilisi City Court. Starting from 2021, she is the member of the Georgian Association of Mediators (mediator of the unified register of mediators).
Tamar’s mediation practice includes: commercial, construction, family and labor disputes.
