Teona Maghradze – Mediator since 2023
She is currently a lawyer at BLC Law Office and a member of the Georgian Bar Association in general (civil, administrative, and criminal law), children’s rights (civil) and juvenile justice specializations.
Teona holds bachelor’s degree in law from the Faculty of Law of Ivane Javakhishvili Tbilisi State University and a master’s degree in private law from the same university. She also participated in an exchange program at the University of Lodz, Poland, in 2018-2019, and won the Erasmus + MIC scholarship of Rennes 1 University (Rennes, France) in 2020.
Teona has completed several certification and training courses, including the joint 12-week certificate program in copyright law (CopyrightX) of Harvard Law School and the Faculty of Law of Tbilisi State University, module I of the arbitrator qualification course organized by the academy of Georgian Arbitrators Association (GAA), and a mediation (60-hour) certification training course organized by the National Center for Alternative Dispute Resolution (NCADR) of Tbilisi State University. She has also participated in local and international moot court competitions, including the Hugo Sinzheimer Moot Court Competition in European Labor Law.
Teona has worked and interned at various organizations, including the Supreme Court of Georgia, the Commission for Legal Affairs and Human Rights of the Tbilisi City Assembly, and the law firm McGill. In 2021-2022, she served as a member of the appeal commission of the Georgian Rugby Union.
Her mediation practice includes commercial, labor, and contractual relations.
