Memorandum of Understanding was signed between the Mediators Association of Georgia and the Small and Medium Entrepreneurship Development Association (SMEDA).

The memorandum aims to cooperate on topical issues in the field of common interest, implement joint measures, projects and initiatives for institutional development and its promotion, which will help to introduce / popularize mediation as an alternative dispute resolution in Georgia and provide access to mediation for small and medium entrepreneurs.

School of Law and Competition in Mediation.

National Competition on Commercial Mediation has started

On March 12-13, in the framework of the Memorandum signed between the Mediators Association of Georgia and the European University, theoretical and practical training in negotiation and mediation was organized for the participants of the National Commercial Mediation Competition organized by the European University.

Another new court mediation center has been opened in Bolnisi District Court.

Giorgi Mikautadze, Chairman of the Chamber of Civil Cases of the Supreme Court of Georgia, Irakli Kandashvili, Chairman of the Mediators Association of Georgia, and Giorgi Gratiashvili, Chairman of the Bolnisi District Court, opened a court mediation center at Bolnisi District Court.

On February 10, chairman of the Mediators Association of Georgia, Irakli Kandashvili met with new members of the Mediators Association of Georgia, who completed a three-level certification program in accordance with the certification program's provisions and became mediators registered in the Mediators Association of Georgia’s Unified Register

Memorandum of Cooperation with Kutaisi University

Memorandum of Cooperation was signed between the “Mediators Association of Georgia” and “Kutaisi University.”

On January 1, 2022, Mediators Association of Georgia Continuous Professional Development Program was launched.

In accordance with the Strategic Development Plan of the Mediators Association of Georgia for 2020-2025, in accordance with Article 11 of the Continuing Professional Development Program, a mandatory continuing professional development system was launched on January 1, 2022.
