Irakli Kandashvili, Chairperson of the Georgian Association of Mediators, held an introductory workshop on mediation, as a new dispute resolution mechanism in Georgia, with the Deputy Head of the Mission of the Embassy of Italy, Mr. Nicola Iorio.
The parties discussed the format of future partnership, within the framework of which Italian citizens and businesses represented in Georgia will receive information on mediation mechanism in the event of a dispute.
At the meeting particular attention was paid to the advantages that have no alternative for the parties to the dispute, in order to implement their interests quickly and effectively through mediation.
Special arrangements and future joint initiatives were planned.
