Irakli Kandashvili, Chairperson of the Georgian Association of Mediators held an introductory meeting on mediation, as a new dispute resolution mechanism in Georgia, with Petr Mikyska, the Ambassador of the Czech Republic to Georgia.
The parties discussed the structure of cooperation in future perspective, within the framework of which Czech citizens and business representatives in Georgia will receive information on mediation mechanism in the event of a dispute.
Special attention was paid to the advantages having no alternative for the parties in dispute to protect their interests quickly and effectively by way of mediation.
Particular steps and future joint initiatives were planned.
