The Mediators Association of Georgia in cooperation with the Network of Centers for Civic Engagement (NCCE) and Promoting Rule of Law Support in Georgia (USAID / PROLoG) trained representatives of NCCE regional offices from in Akhaltsikhe, Batumi, Gori, Kutaisi, Marneuli, Ozurgeti, Rustavi, Sagarejo, Telavi, and Zugdidi.
The training was opened by Nina Khatiskatsi, Executive Director of the Network of Centers for Civic Engagement (NCCE), Irakli Kandashvili, Chairman of the Mediatos Association of Georgia, and Irina Lortkipanidze, Representative of the Promoting Rule of Law Support in Georgia (USAID / PROLoG).
Elene Orjonikidze, Head of the Mediation Center of the Tbilisi City Court discussed the work of the Association, different types of mediation and successful examples of work. The participants had questions about the role of NCCE in effective promotion of mediation throughout the country.
