The purpose of the Memorandum is cooperation between the parties for the introduction and promotion of mediation as an alternative dispute resolution mechanism in Georgia, for the timely and effective resolution of disputes.
The document was signed by Irakli Kandashvili, Chairperson of the Georgian Association of Mediators and Irakli Petriashvili, the Chairman of the Georgian Trade Unions Confederation.
Social partners – Deputy Minister of IDPs from the Occupied Territories, Labor, Health and Social Protection, Tamar Barkalaia and the Chairman of the Employers’ Association, Elguja Meladze attended a signing ceremony of the document.
