The Chairman of the Mediators Association of Georgia - Irakli Kandashvili and the Chairman of the Supreme Council of Adjara - David Gabaidze signed a memorandum of understanding.Memorandum was signed to support the introduction / popularization of an alternative dispute resolution mechanism in the Adjara region and help society to have a better access to a mediation mechanism. As well as raising awareness about mediation through various joint activities in the community. By 2022, it is planned to open new judicial mediation centers in the region, which will enable the local society , with the help of highly qualified mediators, to quickly and peacefully resolve their disputes through mediation. It should be noted that within the framework of the Memorandum of Understanding, the Supreme Council of the Autonomous Republic of Adjara supports the opening of judicial mediation centers in the Adjara region, as well as raising awareness about mediation and promoting the development of the field.
