Phikria Zirakashvili - mediator since 2025
Phikria has been engaged in private legal practice since 2019. She is a member of the Georgian Bar Association (specialized in civil and administrative law, #4494) and the Georgian Association of Law Firms – “GALA”. Since 2021, she has been serving as a Senior Lawyer at the legal company Professional Legal Services. Her main areas of practice include representation in civil and administrative disputes before the common courts and arbitration tribunals of Georgia, as well as conducting negotiations with various legal and natural persons and providing support in mediation processes.
She graduated from the Legal-Psychological Institute with a Bachelor’s Degree in Legal Sciences, recognized as equivalent to a Master’s degree (Tbilisi, Georgia, 2001). She has completed a certified mediation training program (a total of 120 hours) and has also participated in various professional conferences and training seminars. She is currently a participant at the School of Political Studies in Tbilisi.
Since 2002, Phikria worked initially at the Krtsanisi-Mtatsminda District Court of Tbilisi, and from 2005, she served as a Judge’s Assistant at the Administrative Cases Chamber of the Tbilisi City Court.
From 2008 to 2012, Phikria continued her career at LLC “Tbilisi Water,” and later held the position of Senior Lawyer at the law firm Chelidze & Partners. During her time there, in addition to representing clients in court, her responsibilities included working with various corporate clients—such as banking institutions, tourism agencies, and construction companies—drafting contracts, regulating employment relations, and more.
From 2012 to 2019, Phikria held various positions within the Administration of the Government of Georgia and the Administration of the President of Georgia, including serving as Deputy Head of the Legal Department from 2017 to 2019. During her tenure in public administration, she was involved in the review of administrative complaints, disciplinary proceedings, drafting of relevant legal acts, and communication with the common courts.
Since 2005, Phikria has been engaged in academic work at various universities, including her current teaching roles at the Georgian Technical University and the School of Law at Caucasus University.
