Sophio Japharidze - mediator since 2023 

In 2014, she was awarded the academic degree of Bachelor of Law (TSU), and in 2016 - the academic degree of Master of Criminal Law (GTSU). Defended the thesis on the topic: "Sentences and alternative mechanisms of criminal responsibility (prosecution)" (conditional sentence; diversion, diversion-mediation).
In 2014, she successfully passed the qualification exam for lawyers specializing in criminal law. And in 2015 with general specialization. Since 2014, she has completed a 6-month internship in the Criminal Affairs Board of the Tbilisi City Court.From 2015 to 2017, she was employed at the law office - KS "Modebadze and Company" with general specialization.From April 2017 to July 2017, she worked as a lawyer in the field of criminal law, in the legal aid bureau of Kvemo Kartli, "Legal Aid Service".And from July 2017 to December 1, 2019, she was a lawyer of the Tbilisi Legal Aid Bureau.Since 2017, she has been a lawyer specializing in juvenile justice in the field of criminal law.

She has undergone a number of professional trainings and has participated in various international conferences, including in the preparation of a recommendation document regarding the guiding principles of lawyers and lawyers' associations.In 2019, she was invited to Ivane Javakhishvili Tbilisi State University as the head of the Master's Clinic "Pro-Bono Services".Since December 10, 2019, she is the founder and head of "Sofio Japaridze Law Office".She has been a mentor lawyer since June 2020.Since August 4, 2020, she has been a lawyer specializing in juvenile justice issues in the civil-administrative direction.From April 04, 2021 to April 04, 2023, she was a member of the Lawyer's Rights Protection Committee of the Georgian Bar Association.

Has passed S.S.I.P. Three-level mediation certification program of the Association of Mediators of Georgia.

Her field of activity is civil, administrative and criminal law.
